Well The Foxes have finally got back after out ten year absence.Leicester established themselves in the Premiership with four successive top ten finishes. O’Neill was the first manager to win silverware for 26 years, winning the League Cup twice, in 1997 and 2000, and Leicester were runners-up in 1999.
Martin O’Neill was replaced by the former England U-21 coach Peter Taylor. For most of 2000–01, Leicester looked set to qualify for European competition. They had even topped the Premiership for two weeks in October. But then they were knocked out of the FA Cup quarter finals by Division Two Wycombe Wanderers, followed by nine defeats from their final ten Premiership fixtures which saw them slip to 13th in the table. The rest is History, Taylor spent more money than any other Manager ever had and got us relegated faster than any other Manager.
But now under Pearson we are Back !! So lets just finish the Season as Champions rather than just getting promoted.
So for now lets enjoy the rest of the Season and then sort our selves out ready for the Premiership.
